I entered a great contest on the Lilyella blog which combines two of my passions..designing outfits and doing it cheaply (make that inexpensively!). The mission (and I chose to accept it) was to create a casual date night outfit for less than $80.

Mine is entry #14 (above) and includes a dress, vintage shoes, vintage bag and one of my own necklaces!

"Catch You on the Flipside" Necklace Entered in Design Challenge

My "Catch You on the Flipside" Necklace is entered in the Retro Handmade Team's June Design Challenge. The theme of this month's challenge is 70's colors and I thought this necklace, with its brown and yellow beads and heavy goldtone chains, fit the bill perfectly! The necklace is made from recycled vintage beads and chains and new, handmade felted wool beads!
