Pull Up a Chair Treasury

In my opinion, it's impossible to own too many chairs. They are one of my favorite objects, functional and decorative, modern or vintage, plain or ornate. One of my favorite things is finding a single discarded chair on the street and taking it home to refresh it with paint and fabric. Unfortunately, I have a pretty large collection of these still awaiting their magical makeovers. Never mind, they come in handy this time of year! And each one is as unique as the guest that sits in it!

Virginal Vessels ~ Clean, White Vases

If I had it to do all over again, I would decorate in the minimalist style. Right now, I have large pieces of oak and leather furniture, bookcases everywhere and walls full of photographs and prints. I would like less clutter, much more white around me and less dusting to do. But I am also a collector (read hoarder) so that's probably never going to happen! So, in my dreams only, I would have my bookcases and shelves filled with vases just like these!
