The Blue Mountains, Australia & Summer Morning Mist Necklace

We were traveling from Sydney to Melbourne (via Canberra) and looked forward to seeing the Blue Mountains, Australia's famed wine-growing region. Unfortunately, the weather was overcast (I now understand what the expression "thick as pea soup" means) and we didn't get many photos of breath taking mountain views. However, the eerie, spectral effect created by the fog that got heavier as we climbed in altitude, did provide some special pix. I was looking through the digital album from the trip last month, saw this photo and was inspired to create a necklace "capturing" the effect.
