I'm trying out a new design for my necklaces - using recycled vintage chain only (no beads!) I'm still working out issues like weight and length, but I'd appreciate your feedback (
leave your comments below). Thanks!
PS I took everyone's advice and shot new pictures!
Hi Suzanne: One of the things you might consider is photographing them against a background with more contrast; right now, they are blending in. Also, if you have a dressmaker form at your disposal, they might be better merchandised actually handing around the neck of the form. Just a few suggestions!
ReplyDeleteI do..I'll give that a try...much thanks for the help!
ReplyDeleteThose are really cute. I'm partial to silver. I do agree with what foxygknits said about the pictures. Maybe you could put a black or white sheet under the necklace so it doesn't blend in with the background.
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking the time to look at the necklaces and comment. I will have to take some better pictures!
ReplyDeleteI have to a agree with the other comments above--it's hard to see what they actually would look like ON when they are lying flat like that and on a blah background. That said, they look pretty cool--assymetrical and trendy--and I bet they are pretty cool on!

OK..first task..take better pictures but I'm glad you like assymetrical aspect..I have never been one for "matching" and "symmetry" and "evenness"
ReplyDeleteLove the assymetrical part, but wonder what they would look like on a real person, they hand quite low, so might the line of the necklace be broken up by boobs (rude) and clothes? I reckon people may appreciate a little bit of beading, like the first picture, or maybe one large feature on one side. It's good to try new things!

Good point! I'll be wearing these prototypes myself. Maybe I'll get some compliments and maybe no one will notice!
