My first foray into "paid advertising" is the Spring/Summer edition of the Vintage Indie Market run by the people at the Vintage Indie blog. The market will run from May 15th - July 15th and each seller was able to create an individual page with six of their items' titles/photos. Links take prospective buyers to the seller's shop(s) to conclude purchases.
The good news is there are only 15 shops who are part of this "market" and because they are listed alphabetically, I am actually the last on the list ( a prominent place, no?) The bad news is there are only 15 shops who decided to participate in the market and I'm wondering why. The fees were very reasonable and Gabreial, the editor of the Vintage Indie blog, has been a pleasure to deal with!
