I am not usually inspired to create a necklace in honor of or homage to a particular person. There have been a few, Bette Davis, Charlie Chaplin....actually that's all of them....and notice they are dead people. But after weeks of watching Rachel Maddow nightly on MSNBC, I have been inspired. It was difficult to design this necklace because Ms. Maddow doesn't even wear jewelry, at least on air. So I had to choose colors and beads that represented her strengths in a very abstract way....so abstract I may be the only person that gets it! Think straightforward, respectful, smart, hip and classy? Take a look and see if I have achieved what I intended.
